Why is it orange?

Have you noticed the Vitality Serum has a bright orange-red color and wondered, "What the heck is that from"?

Well, it's from Astaxanthin!

An algae-based antioxidant that outperforms both vitamins C and E. And works even better when used in conjunction with them. You've likely seen astaxanthin in your daily life before; it's what gives shrimp and salmon their red-orange color.

Our lab gets their astaxanthin from an algae called Haematococcus pluvialis, which is not only cruelty free but thought to be the very best source of astaxanthin available.

The algae "seeds" are first fed essential nutrients that lead to quick and prolific growth. Then, the algae, which started out as a green algae, is turned red by stimulating it to produce astaxanthin.

Remember, astaxanthin's an antioxidant, which means it serves a protective purpose for the algae.

We like to formulate with this ingredient when we're looking for really powerful pro aging results.
